Alternative Access Is Prepared During LRT Development

Jakarta Transportation Dept is preparing alternative access in line with Cawang-Dukuh Atas Light Rail Transit (LRT) construction in the capital. This is applied to smoothen the project, considering there will be narrowing road at some points.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Detp, Andri Yansyah disclosed the project has been ongoing since December 13, 2015 until now.

City to Construct Apartment at LRT DepotThe project routes that passed are from Cawang Jalan MT Haryono and Jalan Gatot Subroto on south side using sidewalk. Then is Jalan HR Rasuna Said, precisely from intersection of Kuningan on east side using media between fast lane and slow lane or ex-monorail pole. Further, they are from Jalan Setiabudi-Jalan Galunggung-Jalan HM Djoyohadikusumo.
As for the alternative access that prepared are vehicle coming from north or Menteng towards south Ragunan, will be rerouted to Jalan Galunggung-Jalan Latuharhati-Jalan Sultan Agung-Jalan Minangkabau-Jl DR Saharjo-Jalan DR Supomo-Jalan Pasar Minggu and so on. Or can pass through Jalan KH Mas Mansyur-Jalan Prof DR Satrio-Jalan Casablanca and so on.
Vehicle from Cawang towrds Semanggi will be rerouted to Jalan D.I Pandjaitan-Jalan Basuki Rahmat-Jalan KH Syafei-Jalan Casablanca-Jalan Satrio. They are urged to obey the officer direction in the field.
"After the project is done, traffic will be set as before. We urge the motorist to obey the traffic rules in the field," he finished.
